Apple pieThis pie is not for those looking to lose a few pounds! Things you will need: 6-7 medium sized apples 1-1/2 cups of sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/3 teaspoon cumin This tastes great with homemade crust, but you can cheat if time doesn't permit. Put crust into bottom of glass(tastes better for some reason?) pie plate and the add 3/4 cup of sugar and half of the cinnamon and half of the cumin. Peel and core the apples, slicing into wedge shape and let them fall where ever in the pie plate. Add remaining sugar, and then sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and cumin over the top of the apples. Time to put the lid on the pie! Wet the edge of the pie crust in the plate(this will help seal the edge), and place top crust on. Using a fork, squish the edge together. Cut excess crust off. Place pie into a pre-heated over(400*F) for 10 minutes, then turn the temp down to 350*F for the next 45 minutes. Allow to cool some before eating!
