QuestionWhat kind of tree is this?

This ornamental tree is planted at a mall/housing area and is quite beautiful. However, before I can go and buy one I need to know what kind of tree it is? I would really appreciate help in identifying this magnificent tree.

Tree

I'm guessing a species of Sophora - I would also guess a type of Gleditsia, but I'm not sure if you have those down south.
