Welcome

Hi Terryblank, glad to have you join us.

Assuming the top growth of your tree still appears to be active and healthy, and that it has all the sun, moisture and good growing medium that it needs - it may very well be that there is nothing actually wrong - bottom-shedding is a natural trait with Norfolk Island Pines, in my experience.

Norfolks tend to shed bottom branches as they continue to grow taller and taller. In south FL, where they were used as landscape specimens, they tended to grow well over 150 ft tall, with long, bare trunks and the 1st of the branches towering as much as 30-50 feet or more above ground level.

Hope that helps - and again, welcome to PlantSwap.

You are very welcome.
Here's hoping that your Norfolk Island Pine will do well for many years to come.
