ExclamationNeed to find 8-10ft TREES!

I need to find a nursery that has 8ft trees or taller. That also has a large variety. Everything from Nuts, Fruits, Flowering & all that good stuff. The stupid gas company came through the best part of my timber on my land & tore down alot of my trees. They said they would buy all the trees I wanted to replace them & my labor for planting them. I checked my local nursery, but they don't have hardly anything. I need help!
Thanks.

You only have one local nursery? You might ask them to check with their suppliers to see what they can get for you. Sometimes, they can special order things.

You need to find a nursery that only sells wholesale to designers and not the public. They will have things in sizes you can't imagine. Look in the phone book for landscape designers and tell them your story maybe someone will give-up their source without wanting anything in return.

wow gary

theres lots of good ideas,, rose bud should have more than enough trees pretty soon,, it is terrible how fast the companies destroy them with no accountablility ,, oh yeah we will replace them,, what if they hold memories,, of dead loved ones,, etc,,, its things sometimes that you cant put monetary values on, good luck Leslie,, and maybe they will be ten times better than the ones they took down,,get the costliest and the prettiest ones,, the big companies can afford to pay,, they have it going on,, blessings,, and love to see the new arrivals when you get them all in,, sorry about the ones that had to be lost ,, too,, blessings,,b eth

HAve you checked the trees at Home Depot/Lowe's ??? They often carry fruit & nut trees. Sounds like a good chance to start an orchard!

Thanks

Thanks for helping me. I just found one on the web & they are called "Fast Growing Trees Nursery" They have the tallest trees for sale so far. I will check out the nursery & landscaping in the town my sister lives in. That is Conway. A big city. It's about 1hr & 15min away. Her hubby said his grampa builds houses that are really big. In the rich community. She said they have a place they get there plant from. She's going to check it out.
You know I had to run the SOB off my land again this morning. They are trying to build a pad on part of it. I think they are stupid when it comes to reading the boundry lines. My husband went to talk to a lawer. I'm waiting to see what they say about it.(if there's anything they can do)
The Sheriff say it's a civil matter. That's also stupid to me. From my understanding they can't do anything to a person who trespass onto your property & do what ever they want & there's nothing that can be done unless it's a criminal crime happens. So if someone comes & breaks your window or something like that, the only thing happens is that they take a report. What are we paying the for???? I'm just confuse. I just needed to vent.
Thanks for listening.

My sympathies

Oh, Rosebud. You just vent away. We're all here for you (lot of good that does--about as much good as the sheriff did). But for what it's worth, I feel for you.

Talking

Thanks for your help. I found a place down where my sister lives. That place had 22ft. trees! Oh those gas company going to love me. They were $$$! I told the gas company I was going to need about 100 plus the one I was going to buy & plant in the new yard. I just moved into my new built house 1 1/2 mo. ago. Have trees that I need to plant there & in the horse pasture. They said ok & they will pay me, hubby & fathr-in-law 20 hr. to plant all the trees. Ha, I feel better!
I guess everything works out in the end.
