Lightbulblooking to get my first bonsai tree

i have for a long time always liked bonsai tress but never got one due to the fact ive never really kept any plants.but recently ive found a deep passion and joy gardening out side and growing things inside. I am ready to make the investment into bonsai with new found patience i really wanna give this a chance. So anything you could tell me or share with me like links on something to read or other threads. im still not sure what kinda tree ima go with im going to look in to that more but i dont know where i can buy one and i am not sure if i want to start from seed. As you can tell im a little lost lol any direction and one could share with me would be much appreciated thank you!!

Hi there, I had to do some research myself on keeping a Bonsai that I got recently as a gift and to be honest, knew nothing about, the following are some articles and links that can help you, most of them are either specialist websites or worth reading from the point of view of Bonsai Tree care taking as well as Bonsai for beginners

You can start a bonsai on the cheap using a succulent with a woody trunk.

A Jade plant will do fine. If you want some color, you can use Golden Jade instead.

Gollum would also work. I could send you a nice starter piece as long as you reimburse the postage. Send a message if interested.
