| Gorgeous pix B! That rose looks just YUMMY! I love the way the foliage has turned so dark!Brrr, I hate to think about the weather turning cold ... I'm such a wimp! I'm grateful that we are back to short-sleeve temperatures after flirting with frost for a good bit of last week. Looks like our lows will stay up around 50° or so for the rest of the week. *whew* Keep warm all!

It's not unusual if we don't have our first frost until after New Year's day. Luckily, it never did get quite cold enough to frost here last week, *whew* but it did just a couple of miles inland, we only missed it by a degree or two here. Much too early!

| We can have a frost any day but we missed it on the last go around. 35. I think the guys below us got freezing weather but we staid above the cold air because we are high up for central TX. The cold front was a shallow wedge of air. South of here, the vineyards all froze. Their leaves are all brown. Now it is back to highs in the 70's and a low tomorrow night in the 60's. My epi is still outside. 3 days of cold 3 times a year, usually. I better go knock on wood. I did bring my long johns out of hibernation to keep on hand. We only heat one room in our house/shop. |
