Evergreen seeds or christmas tree seeds.

Any one out there done seeds from the christmas tree type seeds?
last year I planted oodles......they grew well, till I transplant, all but one died.

Can anyone give me ideas??//// I do it for fun to plant my own.

I read the thoroughly....... Didnt know what to feed it.
But mine germinated really good, in sand...........Must of died from fungus . i will keep trying........
