any one have any sugustions on rooting cuttings from datura or Brugmansia

Sure. They are ridiculously easy. Just stick them in some potting soil, water and leave in a shady spot until they are rooted. The leaves may die off and the cutting may die back, but rest assured that the roots will be growing and it will come back strong.
