Thumbs up2008 Roses Penna.


Here are my first 2 roses of the season.
red stripie
Orange just starting.gets much larger.

Red Sripie is a Mini bush from my sis......


Oranges gets much larger, but the coloring is so much cuter now. Wanna show you.....

I just love the red stripie! I want to try roses but never seem to take the plunge! I hear they are a lot of work and prone to so many ill things? I would love an old fashion climber!

gardening mama.

You may like the little stripie.I think sister got it out of sunday papers she would order and give me some....They are only about 18 inches high.. No pruning there.

The other it gets taller but I prune to keep in check......some one on the seed swap from Colorado gave me the plant......I never was into roses.
But my yard has the 7 sisters I think.......I arent wild of them crawlers.......

My sister said she bought the Red Stripie Rose from Michigan Bulb company.

Have to see if I can find it .

I have a florida friend into roses...Theirs live..Maybe they have some part shade some where.
PS my blue rose from Gurney ....Died ...Had it one blooming year .
Guess I will ask for a new plant.If I find the papers.

Glad to hear that ....I keep taking photos and forget to up load it.
I think Ihave the camera goind 365 days a year here.....I missed a huge bird today....
2 Helicopters the other day......

My husband laughs. He bought me the camera for christmas..I love the way you dont need to get it developed..

I am testing my skills......
