Pink Muhley Grass


I looked for this for awhile...and finally found it...and it is now it bloom...wanted to share!

Muhlenbergia capillaris (Gulf muhly, Pink muhley grass, Pink hair )

Oh I love that grass!!!!! The bleeding heart is so lovely also, do you grow it in the shade? I love the cross there dear.

There is tons of this grass were I work. I grows wild. I guess it is the same. Sure looks like it.

Thank you all.....It is called pink muhley..but it has a lavendar/purple look which I have to say is my favorite color....

I just planted a Gulf Muhley this weekend that I purchased from a native plant sale. Hope it does as well as yours. Thank you for posting the picture.

Diane they are both beautiful! I've always loved the Bleeding Hearts and finally got myself one at our local plant swap and it's done quite well. In fact it happily bloomed all Summer! Great pics, the grass is gorgeous!
