Hi danato, that is funny, but true! LOL

I love seeing these odd mushrooms in my garden. There are mushroom websites that one can ID if they have plenty of time on their hands!
It is interesting tho, but from what I have read, it is fairly hard to ID them.

Others out there that may want to show their mushrooms that grow in their garden, feel free to here. One does need to have their camera ready as mushrooms are not around for very long.

Extremely beautiful and interesting photos. I never run across any here in FL except on the lawn. Think they call them Fairy circles because they just pop up overnight in large circles. Oh yes, I remember now that I have seen some that kind of puff and explode with a smoke look when stepped on too. Isn't nature facinating??

I would be concerned about the mushroom in the aloe. It might mean that the soil is too rich for the aloe since mushrooms love humus rich soils and aloes like soils with more drainage. A succulent/cactus soil. I just lost ,my Puya 2 days after I saw a mass of mushrooms. The soil was rich AND there were some pretty rocks on it slowing down evaporation. The mushrooms were not harmful. The environment was not right for my plant.

I read where it is extremely difficult to ID mushrooms as there are so so many varieties.

Hi bc,
Thanks. Hmmm, fairy circles, like the name.

PUD, you've got some cool looking mushrooms growing your way. Thanks for participating.

GT, interesting one. Thanks for adding to our mushroom collection!

Hi mara,
Thanks for the info.

Got a neat one that popped up a few days back. These were found in one of my epi pots. I call them 'sunny side up'.

FD. Perfect name, Sunny side Up. There's sure a lot of "fungus among us." I can't get over why yours are so much more colorful and exotic than some others. Katrina do that? I took a few pictures but my mushrooms are so common.
