hidden ginger

Hi. I had purchased a few packages of bulbs from Lowes earlier in the summer for Hidden Ginger. They never popped up, do I count them as a loss, or is there still hope? So disappointed Thanks.

My Hidden Ginger, Curcumas are usually the very last gingers to start growing, showing up long after the Butterfly Gingers, Hedychiums and Spiral Gingers, Costus. I'm thinking Curcumas are probably sensitive to soil temperature. Dig them up and see if the bulbs are still there .. if they are then pot them up and stick the pot in a warm place since you are zone 7 and they might still come up.
