"Emerald Gaiety" Invasive in zone7???

Also known as Euonymus Fortunei. I have seen in some states it is on the do NOT plant list. Was wondering if it runs wild in Va? I have a townhouse backyard and can't let it get out of hand. Don't think my neighbors would appreciate that much. If i try to "train" it onto a screen specifically for it , could I control it?

from what i see doesnt appear invasive,

Boy that's great info Beth. It's funny because what might be considered invasive in one area isn't necessarily that way in another. Good luck with it.

One second

You guys should know this: Euonymus grows very slowly compared to other vines, and it's extremely rare to see a mature specimen.
Don't let the book's exaggerations scare you.

Plant it, and enjoy it. Euonymus is hardly what I would consider an invasive plant, even under optimum conditions. Yawn...
