Hello.. I have tried to grow D.lephantipes, but nothing happened. Does the plant require some special treatment before sowing?

What a fascinating plant, I'm sorry that your seeds failed.

From what I've read, there is no special treatment necessary,
paraphrasing:
... seeds should be buried about ¼ inch in growing medium and kept warm ...
... germination should occur within about 1 month ...

Could it be that the seed that you sowed were not viable for some reason,
either because they were collected before ripe or
perhaps they had been stored for too long or under unfavorable conditions?
