QuestionWho has used bulb booster when planting bulbs?

Who has used bulb booster when planting bulbs? I tried it once and did not see any difference. I just throw mine in and they come up fine.

I use bonemeal when I plant my bulbs.1 tsp. per bulb. I find that I get much better blooms and more healthy offset bulbs for the next year. I also add bonemeal as a top dressing in the following years. This will help your bulb plants increase instead of slowly diminishing in quanity and size.

Angie, I found a bulb soak remedy that I tried this year with my bulbs:
(This is for bought bulb
1 can of beer,
2 tbsp of diswahing liquid
1/4 tsp of instant tea granules
2 gal. water...
Let soak before you plant this helps pump life back into again. I did try this , will have to let you know how it does in spring....
(I don't drink so I had a time trying to get a can of beer) Blessings

Diane, Come spring I going to try your recipe. I use something similar on my Brugs. The recipe I use on the Brugs work pretty good. I spray it on the leaves, anything left over I water my brugs with it. I think they call it feeding the leaves.

Is this to give the bulb a start or to keep bugs out?

I usually get carded for stuff, then they look at my ID and say "wow I bet you feel good since I carded you." Well I did until they said that! Anyway I'm gonna have to try that recipe, even though I don't drink either. They card you here for any kind of cold medicine, BTW. Kind of a pain.... moreso than having the actual cold. haha.
I totally forgot what the recipe was for keeping vermin from eating your bulbs, wish I knew now since I lose some to rodents every year....

Those 500 gladiola bulbs I sent out to various people early this spring were the result of bulb booster last fall.
Won't do that again. I dug more glads than I ever wanna see again.
I do love the flowers though!
