Went to check on my tomatoes today and found this. It could be a weed for all I know!

Pic

Could you get a clearer picture of the foliage as well?

Can't tell what size the flower is, from the picture, but could be a moss rose (Portulaca) or a Hibiscus, nothing to size it up to.

Hey G'mom, did ya plant any okra??

I think santoury is on the right track with hibiscus,
Malvaceae (hibiscus family) is the family that Abelmoschus esculentus (okra) is in.

No okra. Not portulaca because it has actual leaves. It is very low to the ground and the flower is about the size of a quarter. The leaves actual resemble mums.

Okra??? There used to be old azalea bushed planted here and this year I just threw some tomato plants in the spot so it wouldn't be all mud (little did I know we would have no rain to make the mud) and I didn't even compost or anything. Where the heck would okra come from and what do I do with it now? I don't even like okra!!

Enjoy the pretty flowers ...
or tear that li'l booger out and toss her into the compost heap.

Are ya crafty?
Some folks let the pods grow big,
then they dry them and paint them as Christmas ornaments.
