ArrowWeather Chat Thread 2017 - How's the weather in your garden?

Mid-March Winter Blast - Sending out WARM thoughts and wishes for safety to any and all of you who are taking a hit from this storm.
A few flakes and ice pellets fell here on Sunday, but nothing like what is walloping the NE now - so please, keep yourselves and your loved ones safe and sound (including those fur babies), and be especially careful if you lose power.

As for my garden in NC, many plants were lulled into putting up early spring growth and bloom by the very mild weather we've had for the last several weeks and I dread to see any of that get frost-bitten ... but the forecast indicates some freezy temps tonight (and for the next few nights).
I'll do what I can to protect things with frost cloths and such, but I suppose damage is inevitable.
A very feeble complaint compared to what many of my gardening friends to the north are experiencing, certainly.

Please check in when you can and let us know how it's going where you are.

Just pretty chilly here...one week in 70's then in 20-30's. WE also have things blooming and turning green! But like you said nothing like those up North. Prayers for all!

It's been a very mild winter. Been in the 80's early this week, hasn't got out of the 60's for todays high. There is a freeze warning to night for about 5 hours.
