Ok we all know that all of us are gardeners, I want to know who is doing the lawn mowin around all the flowers and flower beds? Not me my honey does the mowing and weed wacking. Sometimes I have to keep my eye on him with that darn weed wacker cause he acts like a crazy man! He thinks I don't see the flower knocked down, but I know exactly what all is out there! once he weed wacked all of this yellow flower I had cause he said he thought it was a weed, could have beat him! Ugh!!!!!

My kids do the mowing on a riding mower. We have a zero turn also and it does very well around the beds. But they always leave a little space between the bed and the grass just in case theres something there that shouldnt be cut down.

My friend to does most of it and I have edging of some sort around all my flower beds. No mistakes here..LOL

I do most of the mowing. BF does the weed wacking. Mostly because we have a hill that has to be wacked, and I'd probably hurt myself trying to do it.

I do all the mowing and trimming....I have a zero turn machine and love the ease.

I always did it.

I like the sunshine an fresh air...And dont want anyone killin my flowers and bushes.

Hubby's the one that mows & weed-whacks. He's the one who dug my flower beds so he takes as much pride in them as I do so I never worry about him taking out the flowers. Bless him because he used to be able to just go up and down now there's all sorts of beds and shrub groupings to weave around.

Angie you aint rite for this post but that's okay.Shawn moes like a crazy man to that's why I took the mowing from him.I work to hard planting and growing my stuff to watch him chop it down and wait for it to come back like the baby crepes I found in my yard that he's been running over. See here its the opposite I do my plants and the yard.he Cleans and Washes clothes.I'd rather play with the dirt than clean and cook and wash clothes.Angie that was a good survey you got started ttyl valerie

Hmmmm.....

I mow, I weed whack, and I plant/pick(deadhead). The wife picks the color scheme for the beds, and I make sure her wishes are fulfilled!

I do it all in the back he loves it out there but he cant take the stress he said i have a--ed it all up i just need a weed eater no more up and down with rider that is a thing of the past thank god soon i will b out there with snipers on my butt snipping grass

I'm blessed for my husband does the mowing...BUT, I help...I may do the trimming and edging, but that's my choice...I don't worry about him cutting anything down, because we have like a concrete border or brick border around most of our beds and he worked as hard as I did planting things, so he value every plant we have.. As far as weeds, we have very few weeds, we put newspaper down then mulched and that has helped us amazingly..

I used to do all the mowing and weed eating. I no longer mow because every time I get on a riding mower, it breaks down. I broke a bunch of mowers over the past few years. Now we have 2 really nice mowers and I dont want to chance them breaking down while I"m using them. I think my husband is tired of buying new mowers all the time and its alot cheaper if I dont use them. So, the kids mow with the riders and my son push mows the parts that need trimmed. Much easier on Momma.
