Seedpods, Seeds and Seedlings

For all the new gardners out there like me , I found this site. I think it is going to be helpful to me on finding seeds on new plants. Thought I would share.

What a fantastic site! Great pics of both seeds and part of flower they're in or on. That was very helpful. I actually just started collecting my own seeds this year and while some were easy to get others weren't so this is wonderful!

that is a great website, thanks for posting the link.
Plants are indexed by comon name or botanical name, I like that! and the tips on harvesting are great too

I do want to thank you for this sight. I had a lonesome unlabeled seedling come up in the long-time-no-sprout-label-long-gone-moved-to-much section of my germination bench. Usually I just empty these into my potting soil to reuse. I was able to identify them as asphodelus aesthevus that I have 1 plant of, the others died in my attempt to find out how drought hardy and bad soil hard it really was. It is no longer available from mail order nurseries in this country. The table had a relative listed and it gave me germination times and process. I have some more seed so I am planting some more. YIPEEE!!!!!!! The one and only plant will have brethren to keep her company. I think plants are always happy when they have someone to commiserate with. See, zoning out looking at green seedlings mindlessly did pay out.
