rooting jar

Ive had a few Buddies want to know how I made the rooting jar, U need these items:
Mason jar(pint size)
Chicken feeder top (get at feed store)
Spray paint for metal(feeder top is metal)any color
4-empty water bottles
Stickers(u'r choice) I did sunflowers
Spray paint the metal feeder the color u choose for u'r theme(i painted mine yellow & sponged brown over the yellow.)Don't forget to paint the bottom of it in case u want to hang it up. let dry.
Next screw mason jar on the feeder part, apply stickers on the jar.
Cut water bottle down about 4 inchs below the screw on cap area. Besure u put the cap back on and stick the cap end of bottle into the holes of feeder, skip every other hole
Then u can just glue a silk flower over the extra holes if u want 2 I put small sunflowers over mine. Fill the bottles with a little water & stick u'r cutting in the water.
It was fun to make & come up with a different type rooting jar. Hope you make 1, they work great.
P.S I have a photo of it on the chit, chat page & on photo gallery

That is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing such a wonderful idea!

Question, can you really use it for rooting? Or just for looks?
