| Can I over root-stimulate? I have several small starts. I typically dip any new cuttings or rootings in dry rooting hormone before I plant. Seems like it is taking forever for some to take off. I bought some liquid "quick start" root stimulator and have put that on several plants. Seems to me that some have perked up since I gave them that. But the directions say to use, then repeat ever 7 days until established. Will using that with the root hormone hurt my plants? What about using miracle grow liquid daily fertilizer along with them? The "quick start" I bought is a miracle grow product as well. ![]() |

| It does seem like the root hormone powder doesn't help verymuch, I usually get quicker or the same results from just sticking the cutting in the dirt. Maybe others have had better luck wth it. I don't know about root stimulator liquid never used it,but, I wouldn't think it would hurt the plant cuttings, I wouldn't use any fertilize on just a cutting because it dosen't have any roots yet, it would probably damage the cutting. Good luck , its experiment, |
