Any plant that needs to be pruned/trimmed/cleaned up/shaped can provide cuttings. Look for a stray stem on an Azalea, a wayward branch on a Magnolia, whatever!! When you start chasing the local landscapers as they are pruning trees and shrubs and begging for the cuttings...then you will truly be a real (and crazy) gardener!

Take the Forsythe Pot method and combine it with the can-do attitude of someone like Mike who is a backyard propagator, and you may even make money creating new plants. At the very least you will be a popular person at your local plant
swap.
