That is such a cool plant! I've never grown this plant but I just looked up on the web, night jasmine from seed and found bunches of things. It looks like you are good to go on seed. The white berries just need to be dry and brown before you take the seeds out of them. Here is a page that I found very helpfull! http://www.ehow.com/how_5698149_plan...ine-seeds.html It also said these seeds have a high germination rate. Ohh keep me in mind when you collect them, I would love to have some growing on the fence! Last edited by fearadyn; 01-17-2012 at 10:11 AM..

Hi fear, Thanks. Okay, then the white berries are actually the pods that the seeds are in, right? Should I pick the white berries, then let them dry, brown, then open? I put you on my list for seeds of the night blooming jasmine if I can get those seeds.

| Flowerdazed do not pict the white berries. It seems to me that the article said you should wait until the white berries dry and turn brown on the plant before harvesting the seeds. If you pick the berries when they are still white they will not be able to grow. If you are unsure if the berry turns brown and then drops the seeds to the ground, perhaps you could gauze bag the white berries to make sure you don’t loose the seeds. I also would love to be on your list for seeds if you get a harvest of them enough to share.

Shoot, my last post didn't go thru~ Yep like Swamplady said, I would let them turn brown and dry on the plant, unless they start dropping off. If they do I would just pick them and let them dry in the house. Then let them dry a few more days in the house and then get the seeds out. Sounds great! Thank you so much

Okay then, SwampLady and fearadyn, I'll do just that and hoping they do stay on the the branches and turn brown, but will know what to do if they don't ![]() I've got you both on my list for these seeds! Thanks again.

Okay, here is the latest with the night blooming jasmine seeds. It seems the white berries were disappearing, either by birds or what have you. The remainders were sparce and a tad brown so I picked them. They have been sitting on the napkin for days now. ![]() I'll try to open and see what I have. If there are seeds, I'll send to fearadyn and swamplady.
