Milkweed seeds

Which type did you get, I know there's several types of milkweed. We have both the butterfly and swamp milkweed. Luckily we have a native plant nursery not too far away and I think I'm going to put some more plants in. I don't always have success with seeds. I read an interesting article in National Wildlife Federation's magazine mentioning the decline of butterfly habitat and the move to get a trail of people planting milkweed for the monarchs journey to Mexico. They are truly beautiful plants and worth planting. Thank you for sharing that info !

Butterflys

Good for you. I want to try making a butterfly feeder using sand and water in some old saucers. Every little bit helps. There's a website, www.monarchwatch.org that might be interesting to check out. I think I'm going to look at it later and see what other suggestions they might have to help the monarchs.
