This Gardener mail plants for $1.50 - $2.00.
He send the plants First Class mail. He say this is
only good a few states away from where the mailer lives.

He cut a strip from a cardboard box, measuring 4" to 6" wide, 16" long.
Also the package can not weigh more then 13 0zs.
I think it's a interesting way of shipping.
I'm going to try it.

Ahhhhh I am glad there has been some light shown to us on this thread. I have been following it and it has been a bit frustrating to say the least on this secret conversation.

Well I can say that I have sent 1st class plants before as is said in the post, but I haven't cut up a box like explained. Yes sometimes the plants do get there faster or as fast as Priority shipping a few states away. I also put Confirmation on those packages to keep a eye on them and as a CYA precaution.

OH!

You send it in a bubble envelope, make sure it is at least 3/4 of an inch thick (hence the box strip).... and its very cheap and fast. It would probably still be best for hardy things.
