Same here. Yesterday, I went to Cal State Fullerton Horticulture Department and grab a bunch of different kinds of pepper plants. This morning I will be heading for Lowes and Home Depot. Good thing I have a $20 off $50 from Osh that I can use at Lowes or Home Depot.

I must have somehow been immunized against the green bug. I went to Lowe's this morning, they had about 20 Golden Sword Yuccas for 50 cents each. They were not dead, but would need a lot of nursing back to health.Or maybe I'm not immunized after all. I left there with a Burro's Tail and a Louisiana Iris. And from Home Depot, a Desert Rose. Would have been a lot worst if someone would have had what was on my shopping list.

Our Lowe's has a very good selection, but just not what I'm looking for. And they always have a better selection than Home Depot. Lowe's also will mark down their plants to clear them out. Home Depot just scans out damaged plants and get a credit back from the vendors. I'll have to hit the mom & pop garden centers, there is a new one advetising on craigslist that I'll try in the morning.
