Got another spectacular deal at Lowes

Friday I went to Lowes in hopes of getting mulch and some flats of annuals to spuce up our front flower beds. Well, I decided to suck it up and ask the manager if I could get a better deal on the clearance flats (nothing much wrong with them at all) He said that he would give me 75% off. We sat there looking at the plants and boy they had a whole 4 tall racks full of misc plants. He looked at me and said you know if you have time I can give you a really good deal, I said oh yeah I have lots of time for a great deal. He brought me out a 8 rack tall cart and said fill it up for $25. LOL I had to make 2 trips to get all these plants home in the minivan.

I got:

9 - 6" Pots of Penta
5 - 4" Pots of Penta
6 Flats of Pink Petunias
2 - 4" Pots of Petunias
8 - 4" Pots of Dianthus
8 Flats of Snapdragons
6 - 6" Pots of Snapdragons
1 flat of Marigolds
3 - 4" Pots of Marigolds
2 - Hanging baskets of Red Petunia
4 - Gallon Pots of Buttercups
5 - Gallon Pots of Black and Blue Salvia
5 - 4" Pots of Viola
2 Hanging baskets of Pansies
2 Flats of Pansies
3 10" Pots of Pansies
6 - 6" Pots of Orange Hybrid Lillies
2 Gallon pots of mixed Hybrid lillies and Pansies
4 Hanging baskets of single Impatiens
7 - 6" Pots of Impatiens
1 pot of Gerbera Daisy
2 gallon pots of Amyrillis (Red)
3 Hanging baskets of these cute tiny purple flowers with a yellow dot center.
3 Pots of White Dendrobium Orchids
6" Pot of Cattleya Orchid - Lc. Red Empress X Blc. Mem Crispin Rosales "Lakeview"
6" Pot of Cattleya Orchid - Slc. Best Friend "Cathy"
Gallon pot of Gardenia Bush
Gallon Pot of White Mandevilla
Gallon Pot of Blue Plumbego
2 - 8" Pots of Pink flowered Bromeliads
and a Bonsai Tree.

I'm thinking my addiction is a bit fulfilled at the moment. But boy was I exhausted when I got home. LOL I just finally got them all cleaned up and deadheaded, etc.

Wow! Did you get a deal girl! Sounds like you also got a workout hauling it around, lol. Good for you. It pays to ask, doesn't it? That was a smart manager too, he knows how to make sure you come back!

Kathy you are lucky to have such a great Lowes Manager. Seems like it is different at every store. I don't even bother anymore at my local Lowes, the clearance shelf never has any pots worth getting and they don't give good prices either. I start to think the manager keeps the clearance items worth saving for herself or has a friend :-/

That is a great story! Why is it that my Lowes never has plants on sale? Might need to take a trip today for another look. So glad you got such a great deal.

Mine is the same way although she does give fantastic advice and is very well informed.
