Just a quick question....I dug up my gladiola bulbs and set them out to dry, however, I failed to take them in 1 evening and they got SOAKED in a downpour. Are they still good for next year?

So long as they didn't sit around puddled in water for a prolonged period,
I expect that they will be just fine, Lauren.

The main thing is to make sure that you let them dry back out again before storing them away for winter.

I agree with Zuzu. Just don't leave it sitting in water. Might want to let it dry out a bit too so you don't store it soaking wet. It might mold then.. Also keep it labelled.. I had my amaryllis bulbs hybernating in a scrunched paper bag. DH thought the scrunch paper bag was garbage and tossed it.. So might want to label it. Don't want to learn that the hard way like I did..

thank you all for your help. They were not sitting in water. I had them out on a table on my porch when they got soaked. I have learned to dry them out INSIDE from now on !!!!
