Well I am really getting anxious to get gardening soon, even though I've done some wsowing, I need more soon! Soon be March and want some new ideas for the yard so as usual I look for the unusual. Saw this and thought it was cool so wanted to share. Lets here what new things you may try in your yard?

LOL..oh I love that..to cute!

I have been sowing seeds also and even some tubers but am soooooo much wanting to do more also. It has been in the 50s an 60s here but I know soon as I plant it will freeze! So doing my best to hold back for now..next month will be able to get the greenhouse up with the new cover and start some things in the greenhouse for the veggie garden.

Could you imagine that in your yarden, cute. Would love to try something like that.
I don't have an official greenhouse, & am making due but seem to be having trouble getting my seedlings sprouted, several came up but most haven't. Maybe because its been to cool & not enough warmth yet. Hoping for a little sunshine today.

TalkingIdea

OK things are getting out of hand here. I really need to do gardening so I had this great idea! I filled small metal containers with soil, added sprinkles of seeds, watered them, put them on metal baking pad, surrounded by foil. Placed my seed treats into oven on warm, turned on oven light and I' m guessing with heat, reflection of light with my foil, I say about 10 hrs and I'll have seedlings?????? I'm gonna set my timer and go to bed, and when I wake up and see my oven overflowing with green leafy things, I'll be a happy camper!!!!

Angie, what a good idea. You will have to let us all know how that works out for you. How bright is your oven light? And just think, all these years we have been doing it the hard way WAITING FOR SPRING you silly goose. You seriously need help.

Boy Angie, you do have it bad! Will be waiting to hear if the oven thing works. Imagine all the unhappy husbands out there who find plants instead of dinner in the oven! I love the big face originally posted. I so want to try to do that!
SuzyDaze, good job on the clean up work! Doesn't it feel so good to see the change when you work in the flowers?

Angie, did you see green this morning or just dirt? I got to know more about this oven thingy

and yes love the clean up, it's looking so good and I want to do more, plant more But that ugly last frost date is lingering over my head, so for now just be cleaning up and I pray every night that my banana trees don't come out any more til the threat of frost is over.

I go tomorrow to a plant friend, she lets me dig in her dirt she is way too good to me. Gives me all kinds of plants.
