So after checking out this site for awile this morning I decide to head outside and do some planting before it gets too muggy. I walk around a bit and much to my surprise only find one or two beetles. That is til I walk past our beautiful birch tree whose leaves look like skeltons due to the fact there's literally what looks like hundreds of J. beetles all over it. So I grab my big bucket of soapy water and go to town trying to knock them in. Unfortunately there's a big bunch out of my reach so I use my spade and try to knock them in and they fall all over me! Well you can just imagine my reaction to that! Yuck. I hope this poor tree is going to be ok. Gonna try to aim the Garden Safe high and squirt 'em.

Pricks!

I walked past my rose bush today and was almost attacked.I threw my arms up swinging those rotten beetles were everywhere! Had to head for the house thought I had one in my hair!Ugh! Now I'm seeing those bigger yet Green flying monsters I here them bang up against the house. Think there June bugs. Alphadog had picture here of both. I hate these things!
