New pest in the garden

Well not directly in the garden, but it effects the garden.....beavers!

Had a complete colony of them working across the road, and the water drainage has become a problem for my neighbors and myself. As a part-time trapper, the problem is being solved as I type this post(Already got one)!! I'd put a picture up, but I don't think some of the readers here would appreciate seeing a beaver that isn't moving, and my ugly mug holding it up wouldn't help matters either!!

While I tend not to really mess with the beavers, I can't keep letting them building that pond! Another thing the new area of water will attract is raccoon....and those guys and corn don't work well! Not to mention the snakes that'll move in I don't like those things at all!!

Has anyone else ended up with a yard full of water?
What did you end up doing about it?
