Here are pics of my clero indic. during their bloom from last Saturday.

It was rather hard to photograph the blooms but you get the idea.

Last Saturday I went to our local N. O. Fall Botanical Show. While there I spotted clerodendrum indicum growing great and in bloom as well. Here are pics of those. I was surprised to see them there.

They were planted in two different locations but close to one another at the N. O. Botanical Gardens.

how beautiful! I have seen this plant in bloom at the Leu Botanical Gardens in Orlando, but it did not have an ID tag. Now I know what it is
If you ever cut it back and want to trade let me know

Hi SadieMae,
Thanks girl! Yes, this plant is quite something! She is now bending or arching, hoovering over an umbrella. There are now more blooms on several of the other branches. I can't wait to see what the berries will look like as I'm told they are more breathtaking than the blooms.

Totally Awesome!!

You really have something quite unique and beautiful there! I'd echo the others in saying if you get some seeds....I'd be interested ina trade....
Did you raise it from seed, and how long did it take to get this big?

Thanks Robpeter! I bought this plant this past summer. It was rather large when I purchased it, say some 8ft or so and as you see, has grown leaps and bounds. I'm now waiting for berries to appear, but that may be some time as the plant is still in bloom. And yes, it is a very unique plant, well, in my garden anyway.
