Talk drink water about to bloom

In August of this year, I was able to get an ID from fellow PlantSwap members on my clerodendrum indicum

I wanted to show you what today has brought.

She is about to bloom. I'm just thrilled. I staked the poor baby as best as I could but she holds on, in wind and rain.

Clerodendrum indicum

From what I am told, I am store for a very nice show. Stay tuned.

Hi Xeo, I know, isn't she something. She must be some 40 ft high, and in a pot as well. She sways in the wind. I hope she holds on for her blooms. I was told the berries this plant will make after the blooms are just as if not more than spectacular than the blooms. We'll see. Wanted to show yall how tall she has gotten as well.

Geez,
I think I should give up on agaves.... you know, the tall tall flower stalk. And just get me one of these!
But then, I'd have to keep the window open so it can grow up to the neighbor upstairs.... and of course he will enjoy the blooms

Today's shots!

Looks to be coming along nicely! These pictures were taken from ground view in zoom setting. I think I'll get my 7 ft ladder out when they open fully.
Enjoy!

WOW. I'm always scared when I need to climb a ladder. Dad's ladders are... less than safe!
NICE...

Ok why is the thread named "Talk drink water about to bloom" when this is a Turk's turbin? Not trying to be rude but the name just keeps throwing me for loops.

Xeo, Calin & Mandy, thanks, and yes, I will certainly be careful when I do climb the ladder for photos. Thanks yall!

Cac, just a little slang, shall we say, ' tall drink of water'. The plant is a Clerodendrum indicum, also known as 'sky rocket, and bowing lady and I can certainly see why.
