Shrimp Plant brings new colors!

Shrimp Plant brings new colors, well for me anyway. I was at our Fall N. O. Botanical Show Saturday and came across this shrimp plant. Ya know I had to bring it home! LOL

Vendor said it's the 'Orange' Shrimp Plant.
Thought shrimp plant admirers would enjoy seeing this. I was thrilled to add this to my shrimp plant collection!

Thanks GT! I was just thrilled and surprised as I hadn't heard of or have seen orange until I walked up and saw it for sale at the show. I want to take a cutting but haven't so far as to not disturb the plant, but ya know I will be sad if it doesn't return after our winter.

Hey GT, well, I could dig it up for the winter months but I'm not sure I want to disturb it, or maybe I can cover it and mulch as well, not sure but will take some precaution.

Penny & EOG, thanks yall. Glad you enjoyed her! Sure was a new color shrimp plant on me. LOL

Thanks maryataylor! Yes, I am keeping my eyes open on various colored shrimp plants to add to my collection. Haven't come across any others lately to add.

Hi BarbaraLee, glad you have joined PlantSwap! And thanks for the compliment on the plant. She is quite a different shrimp plant for sure in her color! I'm thinking of taking a cutting before the cold comes, just in case.
