My hoyas are growing - Yea!

I bought 2 " pots of these back in October. I have not killed them and they are now climbing and have new leaves.

That's awesome - I love hoya .. I have learned that in order to flower consistently they need to be under potted considerably and in an orchid mix substrate .. not dirt.

Yes, mine are in orchid mix and very little water this winter. I'm just starting to water a little more.

Cfiegel, your plants look great. I also love hoyas but only have one kind at this time. Perhaps when yours get a little older and fuller you may be inclined to do a trade with me.

They do look great cfiegel! I have some Hoya cuttings I've had for a couple months that have yet to do anything, I'd imagine they will need a while to get a good root system growing. I do have them in soil though....think I will transplant into orchid mix in a couple months. I'm glad you started this thread or I wouldn't have known.

I got a hoya cutting last fall that I put in vermiculite to root. It rooted, but hasn't shown signs of growth yet. But it does look healthy.

Thanks everybody! I love them but they grow very slow. Hopefully some day they will be big enough to share and actually bloom.
