My 1st Daffodil :)

I was so surprised the other day when I noticed my first daffodil bloom as I thought I was waiting to see a 'snowflake' bloom rather than daffodil bloom.

Poor little baby stands alone but I'm glad for her. Wondering if she will multiply and how rapidly?

Daffodil growers out there, show yours please. I'd also like to get the topic of daffodils going here.

Very pretty! It should multiply, not sure how rapidly though..I have some I planted 2 years ago that have multiplied to several now. I like that color a lot.

No daff blooms here yet but they will be soon I see them shooting up out of the ground all over now along with the tulips and hyacinths. Only bloom so far is the snowdrops.

Thanks RR, and I'm glad they are two-toned. Where have you been? Hmmm, sounds slow growing as 2 years ago and you only have several. What colors to you have growing? Would love to see pics when yours bloom.

Others, daffodil growers, let's talk.

Good to see you sis. I had a very hard fall/winter with my health, just getting back on my feet. I have some called Rosy cloud, and some butterfly daffs...each bulb i planted 2 years ago has several now is what I mean. I have the regular yellows also. But love the Rosy cloud. I will show pics when they bloom for you.

Congrats on the daffy. We have a month or so to get ours.

The daffys multiply as baby bulbs , each winter, it seems. They usually get so full one has to thing them.

Good job

rr, glad to hear you are doing better! I googled rosy cloud daffodils, and wow, VERY PRETTY! I also googled butterfly daffs but they show various colors. Do you remember what colors your butterfly daffodils bloom? I do want to see pics as well when yours bloom, okay?

Thanks bali. I hope you enjoy yours when they do bloom. I also want to see pics of yours as well. I looked a little closer at my one daff bloom and discovered I have two more circling it.

Daffodil growers or spectators, join in please!

Very pretty FD! I'm excited for mine to bloom too. They're popping up everywhere, so a few more warm days and I should have blooms. I think all of mine are solid colors, ranging from almost white to a bright sunny yellow. About a week ago, I got a little pot of mini daffs that were in bloom. I'll have to post that on here.
