Red Tomatoes?

Anyone from PA grow tomatoes? I was wondering when I can expect these buggers to start getting red!!! I have so many and they are getting big but no color yet.

mators in Pa

I grow mators gardeningmom. Just depends, I have a lot of mators coming on, but still sort of small. Just depends what type and I suppose how long they have been growing. I always look to the 4th of July for my first red one as about the earliest I may get one. All I know is once they start changing color it is constant until you start slowing on the munchin part, cause you become tomatoed-out!

We have only a few small guys, lots of plants and flowers only a couple tomatoes. However we're going to be eating zuchs & yellow squash shortly. I swear we garden in a slow-growing zone in Pa. It can be frustrating. I'm thinking maybe if we go out and talk to them , what do you think? Lol. I'm willing to try anything at this point, can't wait to eat them 'maters!!!
