Thanks! The poor plants don't know what to do with themselves, it was up to 74 today, most of the daffs are only a third of the way up and blooming! Tomorrow is supposed to be just as warm.

Boy I don't know, if the weather continues like this we might not see many of our normal spring flowers. The main thing that has me worried is lack of rain, usually we have a very wet march to get things going.

Well it looks like spring has sprung in PA we are just starting to get buds on the daffys but it sill gives me something to look forward to. The temps have been crazy this week. It has been more like April than March.

Yep we heard the storm from here, but no rain. Hopefully in the next few days!

Crazy is the word, do I wait or not wait to plant? If it stays like this till April I will just take it. Carrots going in today

Everything looks great feara! Couple questions for you... Is the ipelion a bulb? and when did you plant the peonie seeds? Did you just sow them directly into the ground? I tried mine in the house with no luck at all.

I have started seeds from my yellow tree peony, but have not done so with my herbaceous peonies. Much the same preparation. Mine seeds where
filed on one side as soon as ripe and planted in free draining mix in pots and covered with wire mesh. Left outside over the winter in a semi protected site that still got rain water. They germinated the following spring and a few stragglers in summer.
I am going to take seeds off my Yellow herbaceous peony 'Molokosewitschii'
for a friend this summer and from the few of the others. A friend gave me a peony quite a few years ago and the fragrance from it is as strong as a rose or more. Most, do not have much of a fragrance.
The Bowl of Beauty is just what is says in it's name.
