Heres some very cool double daffs! Most of the tulips and the cool double and pink daffs came from a 75-80% off sale at Lowes last fall, I went a little crazy, but I'm sure happy I did!

These pink daffs are something else, plus they bloom later then the plain white or yellow, so a perfect bridge while waiting for those tulips~

Thank you guys!

Yea, I love tulips but it's a pain to have to plant them every year, however I've got some parrot tulips and they look to be amazing, just opening now~peonies oh man~I've got a whole bunch coming up great this year! Wow sounds like a cool move, you will have a whole new yard to fill!

Oh yea, I've fallen for those pink cupped daffs also, I think I'll be adding more next fall! This year with the weather staying cool they are lasting a long time.

Thank you everyone! Those parrot tulips are trying to open but this cold front is keeping them from opening~from what I can see with a partial opening, I think I will be falling in love all over again

Thats bad, real bad unless I can come across more great sales!

Thank you!

Yea he would help if he could, he would dig them all up,then step on them for good measure~

It's all a matter of do, (fail) redo then next year (fail some more) then go back to the beginning and do it different the year after that~ heck you can even follow all the plans you want, but you never know what is gonna do good where you put them till they grow there. Tulips and daffs are the easiest tho, if you just plant a bunch of them as close as you can get them they will look good when they come up.

Just remember tho, think of tulips like you do annuals, they may come up and bloom two years in a row, but the second bloom will be much less then the first and by the third year they most likely won't come up at all. Now there are some tulips out there, like the species (the little ones) and I think the darwin that will come back each year, but all the fancies won't. Thats why I never buy them unless I come across a good sale and feel like putting them in that year.

Well unless you have tons of money to get the exact right type of soil and stuff.
