| Well I have to say I for one love the hot days. Humidity not so much but that is part of the deal around here sometimes. I HATE HATE HATE the winter and take every chance I can get to complain about the cold and short dark days. So my rule is you can't complain about the cold of winter and the heat of summer; you only get one. But I do truly love the summer so a bit of down time during these last few danger days only helped to recharge my battery-now it's on to planting!!!!

I agreeI also love the heat and don't care for the cold. I start getting so anxious when it gets close to spring. Looking at all my seed catalogs all winter, pictures, wandering if this year I'll be able to grow even more and more and more. This heat will kick my sunflowers and zinnias but into shape! I planted some peppermint zinnias hope they come up. They are red and white swirled. Also bought other seeds that call for 70-80 to germinate now it should be safe. So I got to get my but diggin and diggin. ![]()
