I went to a garden center today, a local mom & pop, that I get to once in a while. Right there outside the back door was a 'weeping pussy willow' just like yours (but their price is much higher). Very interesting catkins on it. I found one site that says that cuttings root easily. So, Sunny, put me at the top of the list for a cutting.

My sister has a weeping pink pussy willow at her front door. It is the prettiest tree that I have every seen when it blooms. But she lives in zone 5. As cold as my hubby keeps it in the house in the summer, I guess I could keep one indoors for its cold snap.

Cool

Pussy willows all root easily.
I would pick mine for a bouqet , and the buggers would start to root in the water.

I got rid of mine cause of it attracting too many beetles.
They are lovable.

Now I am raising Spirel ( However it is spelled)

Info that I saw said that it only got to 6-8' so if you kept it potted and pruned a little it may stay that size.
