My deal of the day....

It must be my lucky day. Saw these Weeping Pussy Willows about 2' tall at our Ingle's grocery store before Valentine's Day for $20. Went by today to check on them and they were having a Manager's Special >> $4.98!
I just love a good deal!!!

Cool

Is it a pussy willow or weeping willow?
I have weeping now.

used to have pussywillow, but the beetle it had on them was too much to bear .
Instant magnet for japanese beetles.

Hope your area is ammune to it.

Good luck congrats an keep digging.

I lost my first tree planted in our yard 8 years ago, a weeping willow, this past summer during a wind storm. It was gorgeous and it broke my heart to remove it. In the fall I was glad to see a new one coming up to replace it. I've also planted another variety that has crooked branches. I'm amazed at how quickly they grow. I'd never seen a weeping pussy willow, but I looked it up and they're beautiful. I'm going to be on the look out for one for myself!
