I used to feel the same way when I lived in the city. My whole yard was a garden. I am fortunate my husband was ok with it. I guess I persuaded him with the fact that he wouldnt have to mow the lawn. I didnt stay long enough to have seen the yard in its fullest capacity because we decided we were sick of the city and moved wayyyyyyyyy out in the country. Now I do want some grass. There is no way I will be able to make it all a garden. We live on a little over 9 acres and 3 of that is a tameable yard. The rest is wild! I have red columbines, lilac colored lupines, honey suckle and some roses that grow wild. Your yard is so pretty and I envy it! LOL!!
A little none sense now and then is relished by the wisest men!

wow 9 acres! .... I'd have to hire some gardening help ;-)
DH wouldn't want country, he needs his city. I would love a couple of acres with some chickens, rabbits, geese, doves (can you tell I am hungry?)

a couple of those too....
