SmileHello from Lyons, GA (SE)

Just joined and noticed no current activity from Georgia. Everyone's busy this time of year, I suppose.

Welcome from the PNW. Yes everyone is spending their time in their gardens these days but not to worry everyone checks in from time to time. If you have any questions just ask and someone will come along to help. It's a great site with great helpful people. Check out the social groups there is a lot going on there.

Thanks for the welcome.

We have a family member from the Scranton area. He and my niece met in college, married and he has made a great transition to Georgia although I'm certain he misses PA. They go to visit usually twice a year at least. He is a great guy, absolutely loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, guns . . . . a very brilliant person. He and my niece teach in our local school system.

Thanks . . . lots of the Vidalia onions in my area. Several fields just plowed last week were drying to be boxed/bagged for market but now it is raining on them. It's such a shame to see the large amounts left in the fields or hauled to the disposal properties because of the legalities they have established. I can't help but think of the various food products grown here in the USA, Land of Freedom, that could certainly benefit many truly hungry people and even animals but rather destroyed and wasted.

Thanks. My department manager at Coliseum Park Hospital, Macon, GA in 1972 was from Lafayette, LA. A very nice lady.
