A Warning to TX Beyer

Anyone who went to school at FSU in Tallahassee is not a Floridan. Cripes, their not even in the state up there! That's part of Georgia for cryin out loud.
Us folk in Gatorland, University of Florida, do you know where Gainesville is, have known for years that those Texacans can't spell Flori-duh. What do you expect from a state that has a state bird called Armadildo
And as for Sarasota, that is a great (not so little anymore) city. Anyone who has ever been to, or read about (sorry bout that TX, I know you still have not finished your 2nd grade reader yet) Selby Gardens, knows that's one of the best societies in the world for conservation efforts, not the least of which the well known Harry Luther...
Go Gators; National Champs

Yep, Flori-duh is really a flip flop state - north is south and south is north. Guess that makes you a Yankee?

TX state bird is the mockingbord, why do you think you are getting so much grief from us Texicans!

Seminoles are the great Gator hunters but since Gators have been on the threatened list, we are merciful. You go chomp chomp, we go chop chop - Florida is a dangerous place to be it would seem.

BTW, the Flori-duh expression comes from the controversial election that gave us dub-yah.

Nice gator picture! We have them in TX too, only BIGGER

I think after reading all 2,700 pages of the 6 Harry Potter books to date, I've gotten past second grade reading books.

I'm just having fun seeing how many icons I can use in one message.
People are going to think we are insulting each other but it's just fun and games.
I'm just waiting for you to

[font="Georgia"][size="3"][b][i][left]FUN & Games You Say? That's just what Bobby Bowden sezzz

And why am I not suprized that you have read all the Harry Potter Books, how many times each did you read them? SIX?
And to think, we both had Bushes for Govs! That must be why the Texacans don't like the Sunshine State, you guys had the old senile Bush. We know where to put the boots to those Texacans

All kidding aside; did't they shoot the Movie Deliverance in East Texas?
Am anxiously waiting the reply I'm sure that's coming....
In the meantime, here's a couple of photos what it looks like in "our" backyard............

OK, getting serious,

Deliverance was shot entirely on location (in northern Georgia's Rabun County that is bisected by the Chattooga River).

LOVE THESE COLORS!

Whew! Glad I'm not a native of.........

Texas or Florida!!!! At least I come from a state where the bird is original and not two states that had to copy cat each other with the Mocking Bird... I have the Goldfinch!! Who is quite a smart bird.... heads south for the winter and then North when it gets too hot.

You guys have surely lost your marbles...

Most of the rain has fallen just west of Austin in the Hill Country recharge area so our local Lake Travis which was 35' below capacity in December is now only 1' below capacity and expected to overflow this weekend causing a dam release of water from it downriver. We are fine, no flash flooding in the immediate Austin area but N and W, there has been loss of life from it. We have had twice the rainfall than the normal average through this point in the year - which is good for normally dry central TX.

Wow... that is alot of water in just about 6 months! Wish we could have some of it. So sad though when you see on the news loss of life due to Mother Nature... either she is burning, flooding, or tearing down something or someone!
