Right place, right time!

It doesn't happen often, but I was in the right place at the right time this morning! I went to Home Depot and as I was checking out, one of the ladies restocking brought this cart up with 4 of these huge flower planters on it. She told the cashier, just sell these for $1.09 each, we're getting rid of them. I snatched those babies right up, lol! Gave two to my mom and kept two for myself. At that price, I couldn't pass them up. Yep, feeling lucky today!!

Thanks, Tess. .

Disneynut77 - my Lowes is always good about having clearance plants too. I usually don't find deals at Home Depot, and never find deals like this one anywhere, lol!

I don't know if you can see the pots, but they are nice woven pots and they are lined with plastic. I like that they came with stands too (don't know if they intended to sell these too, but I took them!) because I have nowhere to hang anything else right now!

Wow, our HD is right across the street from Lowes. I constantly find great deals in Lowes clearance section and check it regularly, but HD doesn't have one. You would think they would like to at least get something as opposed to nothing from their mistreated (usually just in need of some water) plants, unless they can actually get more by writing them off as a business loss, but I wouldn't think so.

I saw them at HD but they sure weren't on sale!! Try $30 each (or was it $39.99?).
