QuestionLegal plant collecting in fl

I'm visiting Naples f from Maine and have seen so many wild air plants that I'd like to collect. Do any of you know what the laws are regarding collection? I am not going to take anything protected so .......
I can't find any info on the subject.
Any info would be appreciated.

I hope Jordan is still part of this forum.

Pinkham, Not 100% sure but i think everything would be illegal on State land but private property is another matter but you would need to get the owners permission, and if they are lying on the ground, check them out, they will die there anyways and i am sure you should be able to buy them for a small fee.
if you have computer connection here is A Florida site with protected plants

I have gotten 4 cactus pads and a few philodendron looking vines..., one has enormous leaves. I can't wait to get the air plants. I have my eye on a few. I'll try to get extra.
