Bromeliad growers in NE Florida

I have become excited about Bromeliads after visiting bontanical gardens in Melbourne "Florida Institute Technology" Palm trail and Vero Beach *McKee Gardens" and invested in several species/varieties of miniture Neoregilias. I previously had two Crypthanthus and now in addition to cacti, Euphorbias, agaves and aloes another hobby. I would like to hear others success or problems so I get it successful. Thanks BobbyZ

Hi Bob
I would love to hear more about the place in Melbourne / FIT / palm trail - as I haven't been there. Worth a visit? I have been to McKee - great place!

I have been growing Billbergias for a while now, but only recently have gotten more into them as a whole, myself - mostly the weird stuff, such as Acanthostachys, Aechmea eglieriana, Pitcairnia, etc - I'm happy to give you any pointers, or discuss methods, etc.

Florida has a number of wonderful gardens. The Palm trail at fit is intrigueing as it was estanlished as a conservatory for palms, Part is a natural landscape, part furmal presentation. I have only been living in Florida for 3 years and TThere is much to learn about the native and exotic imported flora. I enjoyed Lew Dardens ion College Park outside Orlando and Bok tower around 50 miles south. Fairchild gardens in Miami is ther grandest. So much to enjoy if you are cfrazy about plants like my wife and I Bobby Z
