Wild about Texas Wildflowers

How about this display of early summer wildflowers growing along a main thoroughfare in Austin. OK, it isn't the Bluebonnets and Indian Paint Brush that you see in many TX travel brochures that bloom earlier, but what an encore!

Beautiful. Did you take that pic recently, or earlier this year?

Cool. I may be taking the family around Austin/San Antonio for a day trip this weekend or next. We'll keep an eye out for them if we go.

That was a really nice pic. We have a lot of new wildflowers in our area this year also due to the heavy rains. I really like the tall purple ones but I don't know what they are.

The tall purple ones are Bee Balm.

It's a Texas Thing!

Had a little fun doing an artistic collage of Texas Wildflower pictures I took this year. Enjoy.
