Come on down, I could use all the help I can muster. We're about to begin a large 'remodeling' of my back yard--new fence all around, a 3-season green-house/shade house, a pergola to shelter house from wicked western sun, and some other stuff. Then I can plant more flowers like the ones above and even have several kinds of EE. Maybe we could then trade EE bulbs, or other, preferably perinneal, plants.

The butterfly pea vine is a perennial for me.

That is not fair! The plant is too beautiful to let it die come winter. I do hope I can harvest seeds so I and the plant pals who want some will be able to have them again next year.

So it was you who sent me the blue double peavine. I thought so, but I wasn't sure at the time and didn't go back and look at my records. If I don't end up with seeds from mine, I will certainly want some of yours if at all possible. Thank you again for the peavine, etc., etc.

If that is the one I sent then I think I may have mislabeled it. I think that one is a single. I have both growing in the same pots.

See how much I know. I didn't even realize it, but it is so beautiful it doesn't have to be anything special beyond that.

They'll grow in your area, won't they? If later you'd like some of the seeds of the pale pink hibiscus, PM me later and I'll send some to you.

Wouldn't a polite greeting be in order BEFORE you ask for my seeds. You know, something like 'Nice plants, BFG' or even 'Neat.'

Sorry!

Shirley I am sorry, I guess I didn't think how rude that sounded! My request is the same as Smurfy's, guess I wasn't thinking how rude that was just to come out and ask, didn't mean to offend. I just thought they were so beautiful. This site has changed so much lately, people used to jump on and just ask. That was considered a compliment to the grower. You have a valid point though and my apologies for being rude.

Oh, heavens girl, it never occured to me that you were being rude. And don't you worry about it one bit. I was trying to harass Smurfy, who is a civilizing project of ours.

Please, Mandy, forget this. But thanks for considering it.
